The bylaws were discussed. The list of grandfathered boat captains
will be mentioned by reference in a separate list.
Jim and Rennie Kirby were approved as honorary
members of Alacosta Divers. Jim Kirby is a long time diver who
currently limits his diving to free diving. He and Rennie have joined
on abalone dives. Since he is not a certified diver, he is not
allowed to join Alacosta Divers. Making Jim and Rennie honorary
members seems like the best short term solution to this problem. At a
future meeting, the executive board will discuss the possibility of
allowing non-certified divers to join Alacosta.
