General meeting

The June general meeting will be on Monday, June 2. Joe Talavera, principal of Subtidal Dive, will give a presentation on the DIR (Doing It Right) philosophy of diving. Joe is a NAUI Instructor, and a GUE (Global Underwater Explorers) certified DIR Fundamentals Instructor. He's also a former manager of Cal Dive and Travel.

Subtidal Dive Instruction was founded to provide enthusiastic scuba divers with the best possible instruction. We believe that encouraging divers and instructors to pursue excellence in equipment, experience, and education will allow them to take their diving and teaching to whatever level they wish to explore, limited not by their comfort level, but by their desire to explore and appreciate the underwater world.

General meetings are held from 8-10 PM at:

Executive board meeting

Executive board meetings are usually held on the third Monday of the month at 8 PM and are usually preceded by a potluck at 6:30 PM. All Alacosta members are invited.
