In spite of storms just before President's Day, the President's Day
dive on the Cypress Sea had exceptional diving. The visibility
was 40 feet or so. The first dive was at the outer pinnacles. By the
third dive, the Cypress Sea moved inside the bay.
Due to high winds, the Monterey dive on Saturday, March 15, was
replaced by a trip to the Monterey Aquarium. John Beland
and Kevin Dalley enjoyed sunny weather while visiting the
aquarium. The seas were rough, though there were divers at the
breakwater. From the beach at breakwater, the visibility appeared to
be very low.
