Executive board Meeting

The executive board voted a maximum of $200 to repair the new small Achilles, sometimes known as Pépé. Alternatively, we may try to repair Pépé ourselves.

The executive board discussed bylaw changes in excruciating detail. The sense of the board was that boat fees should be increased from $5.00/day to $8.00/day. The board also suggested getting rid of the initiation fee for new members and raising dues to $30/year. Finally, the board suggested changing ``additional family member'' to ``additional household member''. This last change allows anyone in a household to take advantage of reduced membership fees, rather than limited these reduced fees to people who are in certain legally recognized relationships, thereby spreading the marriage benefit to other people. These changes will be formalized at a later executive board meeting and then presented to the general membership.
