At the August executive board meeting, dues were discussed.
Kevin Dalley suggested that additional family memberships
should be available to any Alacosta members who reside at the same
address. Currently, they are limited to relatives. Other changes in
the membership options were discussed. Some people suggested that
members who do not receive a paper Blurb pay lower dues than
members who receive a paper Blurb. Others suggested that we
cancel our $6 initiation fee. Dues will be discussed at later
executive board meetings. Any changes will be brought to the general
meeting.
Rocky Rockafellow bought some Alacosta patches. It cost him
about $2.75 per patch for 100 patches. There was a suggestion to
give them to new Alacosta members who pay their $6 initiation fee
will get a patch, as they used to.
Alacosta divers decided to accept a boat trailer. It will be stored
somewhere unavailable for use. More details will follow.
