Brian Tubb provided entertainment at the Waterfront
Restaurant on Friday night, November 10. A large number of Alacostans
danced the night away.
John Beland led an abalone dive to Van Damme on November
24-26, the Friday-Sunday following Thanksgiving. The cove was
rough, though probably divable. The temperature in the campground
usually remained above 40 degrees F. Tom Whitaker,
Debbie Kane and Kevin Dalley joined the group with
their dogs, George and Warf. Unfortunately, no
diving was done by Alacostans, but the next abalone season is coming
soon.
