Upcoming dives

Talk to the dive chairs early. Please sign up in advance. All people who sign up are responsible for fees at the dive. People who don't sign up for the dive may be excluded from the dive and shunned for life. On camping trips, each diver is responsible for finding its own campsites. The chair will attempt to organize campsites, but no guarantees can be made.

Balance of money due for Catalina at Emerald Bay, September 25-October 2

The balance of the Catalina money is due at the September general meeting. The balance is $400.

The annual Alacosta Catalina trip is Saturday, September 25 through Saturday, October 2. Please talk to Susan Carter (510-594-2259) or Gary Schleimer (510-547-3474) for more information.

The Emerald Bay Catalina will be invaded by a group of 60 7th grade students during the week we had reserved. At the June general meeting, we discussed various options. The discussion continued at the Executive Board meeting. We will go to Emerald Bay on the already scheduled date with the 60 students.

$100 deposits for Catalina are requested for the July meeting. The deposits will be accepted through the August meeting. We will collect $500 total for the Catalina trip. If 20 people sign up for Catalina, the cost will be about $415 per person. If 10 people sign up for Catalina, the cost will be about $520 per person.

Susan Carter has received the contract for the Ms. Christie, the boat we take from the mainland to Catalina.

Roy Benedict has investigated hotel rates.
