Upcoming dives

Talk to the dive chairs early. Please sign up in advance. All people who sign up are responsible for fees at the dive. People who don't sign up for the dive may be excluded from the dive and shunned for life. On camping trips, each diver is responsible for finding its own campsites. The chair will attempt to organize campsites, but no guarantees can be made.

Catalina at Emerald Bay, September 25-October 2

The annual Alacosta Catalina trip is Saturday, September 25 through Saturday, October 2. Please talk to Susan Carter or Gary Schleimer for more information.

It seems like the Holiday Inn Express , Ramada Express, or Lincoln Inn might be good choices. Lower off season rates should be investigated and ask about 10% AAA member discounts. Some may charge more for weekends and some may charge less, but all will have a high room tax.

Post-Thanksgiving abalone dive

The annual post-Thanksgiving abalone dive will be at Van Damme be on Friday-Sunday, November 26-28. John Beland is chairing this dive. Call for details .

Catalina reunion party in Saturday October 23

There will be a Catalina reunion party on Saturday, October 23, at the Point San Pablo Yacht Club at 700 W. Cutting Blvd., Richmond. Previous attendance at Catalina is not required. This is not a sit down dinner. Bring an hor d'oeuvre which you can eat with your hands. No forks, knives, or spoons allowed. The party starts at 7:00PM. It is not a costume ball. Pt. Lobos New Year's dive
