Upcoming dives

Catalina, Emerald Bay

Ken Woznak, Tom Whittaker, Susan Carter, Bernie Cappelli are members of the Emerald Bay Catalina committee (the greens). The White's Landing Catalina trip (the whites) does not believe in committees.

Van Damme, November 28-30

Camping reservations are not necessary, though you may need to get there early for a camping space. Peter Lasell (650-591-9545) is the chair of this dive. Michael Daly is leading a dive at Salt Point on Saturday, November 29.

Holiday party, Saturday, December 20

Gary Schleimer is the chair of the combined holiday party and 40th anniversary of Alacosta party, which will be at the Point San Pablo Yacht Club. Bring a gift worth approximately $10 for the gift exchange. The party will be pot luck. See the Christmas party annoucement for more details.

Pt. Lobos dive Saturday, January 3

The annual Alacosta New Years Day dive is on January 3 this year. Susan Carter is the chair of this dive. There are currently spaces available for this dive.

Elephant Seal Walk

There may be an elephant seal walk on a weekend in February at Año Nuevo. February is a prime breeding time for the elephant seals. The cost is $4 per person. This trip will take place rain or shine. Walkers need not be certified.

Cypress Point on Monday, February 16, Presidents' Day

Susan Carter is chairing a 3 tank dive out of Monterey on Presidents' Day, February 16, on the boat Cypress Point. Signups will be at the December meeting. The club will reserve the whole boat, with an option to cancel. Cost is $100/person, with a probable refund. The money is due by the January 5 general meeting, with refunds allowed until January 12.
