Talk to the dive chairs early. Please sign up in advance. All people
who sign up are responsible for fees at the dive. People who don't
sign up for the dive may be excluded from the dive and shunned for
life. On camping trips, each diver is responsible for finding its own
campsites. The chair will attempt to organize campsites, but no
guarantees can be made.
Kevin Dalley will lead a trip to Van Damme on August 16-18,
Friday-Saturday.
There are probably enough campsites reserved now.
Call Kevin and he will tell you the names of people with extra
space on their reservations.
For more information, call Kevin Dalley.

Arrival at White's Landing is about 10:30 am.
You say that you've had a secret desire to join the Navy and see the world!
Well, this year at White's Landing you can take a step in that
direction and experience the adventure.
Catalina Island is feeling the drought and is on water rationing.
Shower heads have been changed to 1.7 gal/minute with a Navy Shower
feature.
Come to Catalina and experience the magic!
In 1992, Tom and Cindy Casey will be leading another adventure, to Fiji.
The location is the famous Beqa Lagoon (pronounced ben-gah).
They will stay at
an American owned (co-owner from Martinez!) operation called Marlin Bay Resort.
Beqa Lagoon is 300 sq. kilometers with 68 kilometers of unbroken
barrier reef. Skin Diver in their June '91 issue (page 200) has a
great write up on Beqa, but doesn't mention Marlin Bay--it doesn't
open until August or September '91. Beqa Lagoon is the ring
of a volcano crater rising from a depth of 5000 feet.
Beqa is surrounded by deep clear ocean water.
The date is sometime between February and June 1992 and the costs are
still being worked out. Please call Tom and Cindy Casey.
